Splinter Cell Chaos Theory DS Review
I gots Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for my DS which I am enjoying. Fans and DS owners love the experience, yet major azz online publications are slammin' it like no tomorrow. They bitch about the control and frame rate and shit. They're all a bunch of pussies. They just love comparing the DS version with the big console versions. Like shit, of course the console version is gonna kick the portable's azz. You know what? The level design and unique control of the DS version is pretty sweet.
Graphics/Frame Rate - I'll always remember Tyler and I discussing MGS 1 and 2. Yeah, MGS 2's graphics rocked, but Tyler realy missed that gritty, grainy MGS 1/Playstation look. He found that it added to the world. The same applies to Sam Fisher's DS adventure, this 3-D engine kicks major ass. It's a remarkable achievment and has a bitchin' dark grainy look. The frame rate is fine people. It's playable and it adds to that gritty, dark, realistic Tom Clancy universe. You're not chuggin' at 1 frame a second. let's get realistic here.
Playability/Control - Fuck. What's wrong with it. Look if you love Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy, then you'll love this game. You're not fuckin' runnin' around like a maniac blowing shit up like there's no tommorrow. It's a stealth game. It's about patience. It's about hidding in shadows. It's about sneaking up behind a bad azz and knockin' him out. Using the touch screen, you can change your camera view in any direction you like. Plus, you use your stylus to change between normal, thermal and night vision. You also manage your inventory with touch. Ya, it's cool. I love playing this game on the DS, like Goldeneye it just feels cool to play a super spy game with your super cool DS gadget with it's touch and dual screens.
Sound - It rocks. The music is the same as it's big console brother which kicks azz. There is no spoken dialogue within some of the cut scenes, big friggin' deal. Characters still come to alert. Sam still grunts and groans. Guns blaze loud. Yes, the sound is good.
Look, it's Splinter Cell. You're a friggin' stealth, badazz hiddin' in shadows. If you like Mario or Kirby or Pokemon or Nintendogs... you probably won't like this game but if you're into Uncle Clancy or Splinter Cell or stealth then you will enjoy Chaos Theory.

We'll there ya go! I'm off to War of The Muthafuckin' Worlds in 2 hours, hell yeah! I'll drop a line later about that flick.
Peace out T and C!
