So T, having lived in Japan for some time now... What's it like "gaming culture wise"? What are the attitudes towards the 3 console manufacturers?

As we know in North America, the media has portrayed Sony and Microsoft rulers of the Universe and Nintendo is nothing more than a blip on the radar. Yet after the monsterious event E3 2005, interest in Nintendo has grown. Hmmm...
