August Mania
August is gonna destroy me. I have mighty decisions to make on to what I am going to get and what I must delay purchasing for a long time... Here we go!
NANOSTRAY - NDS - Got it! Shin'en and Majesco's shooter kicks your DS's ass with bitchin' graphics, sound and cool heart-poundin' action. It's great to see a title like this on the DS.
SONIC GEMS COLLECTION - GC - Exclusive for the Cube in North America, this mini-collection of classics includes SONIC CD (Yeah!), SONIC R (Yeah! Yeah!) and SONIC THE FIGHTERS (Hell Yeah!!!!). Round it out with 6 Game Gear classics and you got yourself a sweet Sonic package. This baby hits stores this week!
NINTENDOG'S - NDS - Tyler's written a ton about this already. He's got Kathy and I excited about this pup!
* NAMCO SPECIAL * - Namco own's me this month... with all of this!!!!
SIGMA STAR SAGA - GBA - Very excited about this baby. It's an epic RPG with cool SHOOTER levels. Yeah!
PAC 'N ROLL - NDS - Hell yeah! Damn you Nacmo! It's Pac-Man's 25th birthday and Namco's 50th, so there is a hell of alot of retro and new content flying about. Pac 'n Roll is a sweet "Marble Madness" game with killer stage design. It's gettin' great reviews and I can't wait!
NAMCO MUSEUM BATTLE COLLECTION - PSP - 17 Namco arcade classics emulated on your PSP with battle modes against other PSP players. Time to show my PSP some love...
NAMCO MUSEUM 50th ANNIVERSARY ARCADE COLLECTION - GC/GBA - 14 arcade classics for the Cube and 5 for the GBA, development of this new NAMCO retro-collection is now in the hands of Digital Eclipse (Yeah!). Mass Media did the previous Namco collections with great results but it's so bitchin' to see Digital Eclipse take over cause they're hardcore emultaion/retro fanatics. Eclipse were responsible for Dragon's Lair (Hell Yeah!) for the GBC and TRON 2.0 for the GBA (Hell Yeah!). It'll be cool to finaly have the Namco arcade classics finaly emulated on your GBA. Eclipse did fantastic work emulating TRON and DISCS OF TRON for TRON 2.0.
So there... Yeah it's a busy month.
